Income tax, tax for partners, corporation tax, enquiries, Capital Gains tax and everything the Chancellor wants to have from you

It seems that business owners nowadays are as concerned with getting their tax right to avoid penalties, charges and tax queries as they are with reducing the amount payable. This is understandable in an increasingly aggressive tax environment where there is indeed much to fear from getting it wrong.

If you are new to business you need to register this fact for tax and National Insurance purposes:

• Have you been sent a Self Assessment tax form?
